The OCBA has assembled this list of resources to help educate our members and members of the public regarding the recent immigration enforcement that has been happening in our local communities.   • American Civil Liberties Union
    A comprehensive online guide to immigrants' rights under the Constitution.

  • County of Los Angeles
    LA County's Office of Immigrant Affairs has provided a resource hub with educational materials that inform the community and help individuals prepare for possible encounters with immigration authorities.

  • Freedom For Immigrants
    Resources for individuals facing detention or risk of deportation, their families and loved ones, and advocates.

  • Immigrant Legal Resource Center
    The Immigrant Legal Resource Center has created a variety of materials to educate the community and prepare individuals for possible encounters with immigration authorities.

  • Los Angeles County Bar Association
    LACBA provided this centralized listing of resources in response to the recent attacks on the rule of law which includes the independence of the judiciary, law firms and lawyers.

  • Public Counsel
    Public Counsel has developed this hub for immigration-focused resources during this moment of heightened enforcement and uncertainty.

  • Northwest Immigration Rights Project
    NWIRP have compiled several resources to help you understand your rights when interacting with various law enforcement officials and officers.

  • University of California, Irvine
    The Immigration Policy Updates page from UCI’s International Center provides the latest information on federal immigration policies affecting international students, scholars, and employees.
  • American Immigration Lawyers Association
    This website is for general information only. The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is a professional association whose members are individual lawyers.

  • Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) - Immigrant Assistance Line
    CHIRLA’s Immigrant Assistance line is a toll-free information line available Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

  • National Immigration Legal Services Directory
    Immigrant Legal Resource Center’s main focus is to educate and assist attorneys and legal advocates in their work to help immigrants and their families. They encourage individuals to visit the Immigration Advocates Network’s National Immigration Legal Services Directory

  • OCBA Lawyer Referral & Information Service
    The OCBA’s Lawyer Referral & Information Service (LRIS) is the only non-profit legal referral service in Orange County sponsored by the OCBA. It has been referring callers to some of Orange County’s finest attorneys for over 50 years.

  • Public Law Center
    PLC assists low-income immigrants of Orange County in providing consultations, filing for various forms of immigration relief with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and deportation defense in immigration court (both detained and non-detained removal defense), and conducts community education on immigration issues.

  • University of California, Los Angeles
    Legal services networks, non profits and private practice attorneys who have indicated their availability to assist undocumented residents needing legal assistance.

  • University of Southern California
    USC Gould School of Law Immigration Clinic provides free, confidential consultations, legal assistance, and referrals to members of the USC Trojan Family, students, staff members, contract employees, faculty and family members, who may be at risk of deportation, who may be eligible to apply for immigration status, or who have questions about their legal status and legal rights under the immigration laws.
