The purpose of the OCBA AI & Technology Committee is to promote the responsible and ethical use of AI in the legal field.

1. Advance Responsible AI in Legal Practice: Provide Orange County’s legal professionals with the knowledge and resources needed to understand and ethically integrate AI into their practices, ensuring compliance with evolving professional standards.
2. Enhance Access to Justice Through Technology: Serve as an education and resources hub for meaningful dialogue and collaboration among attorneys and the community to foster affordable and effective access to justice for underrepresented communities with AI and Technology.
3. Foster Public Trust and Standards for Ethical AI in the Law: Lead in developing best practices, policy recommendations, and advocacy initiatives that promote fair, transparent, and accountable AI use within the legal community and broader society.
