OCCDL Recognizes OCBA Member Sarah E. Roa as a Top Champion of DEI in the Law of OC

OCBA Member Sarah E. Roa has been selected as a 2022 Top 10 Champion of DEI in the Law of OC by Orange County Coalition for Diversity in the Law (OCCDL). This award recognizes the efforts of law firms and attorneys to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Orange County legal community.

The OCCDL is a collaborative effort of professionals from leading Orange County law firms and other community partners committed to achieving cultural diversity in recruiting and retaining law students and attorneys in Orange County. Through its members and partnerships, it has been able to extend its outreach in the community, partner with local schools and organizations to increase community involvement and provide education focused on diversity to students and attorneys.

Roa is a private client services associate in the Orange County office who focuses her practice on estate planning, assisting clients through the utilization of complex techniques, trust administration and California probate. She also has experience advising clients on federal, state and local tax matters. Roa is an active member of the Orange County Bar Association and she serves as a Pro Bono Attorney in the U-Visa Program for Victims of Serious Crimes section of the Public Law Center. She received her LL.M. in Taxation and her J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law, her M.S. from University of California, San Diego and her B.S. from Loyola Marymount University.
