Based on the extraordinary circumstances posed by the pandemic, including the limitations on gatherings, mask requirements, and court delays, the time for current judges to complete the content-based continuing temporary judge education required by California Rules of Court, rule 2.815(a) is hereby extended by 12 months. (Cal. Rules of Court, rules 10.492(c), 2.810(d), 10.603, 10.741.) It is ordered that the time to complete the temporary judge education for existing temporary judges of the Orange County Superior Court is postponed for 12 months in order to ease the impacts of the pandemic.
