Buchalter Orange County Office Grows with Two New Lawyers, Names One New Shareholder

Buchalter Nemer is pleased to announce that it has welcomed two new attorneys and named a new Shareholder in its Orange County office.

Lee Parish has joined the firm’s Orange County office as Special Counsel in the Bank and Finance Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm, Parish served as General Counsel to CTCB Bank where he handled a variety of transactional, operational and advisory legal matters.  His practice focuses predominately on real estate related lending, construction, leasing and distressed loan assets, including office buildings, multifamily, and retail shopping centers.  His previous experience as in-house counsel for financial institutions makes him a strong addition to the firm’s robust Bank and Finance Group.

Scott Schoffel has also joined the firm’s Orange County office as Special Counsel in the firm’s Health Care Practice Group.  Prior to joining Buchalter, Scott served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Integrated Health Care Holdings, Inc.  Scott currently serves as a Council Member on the Dana Point City Council.  He served as the City’s Mayor in 2011 and as Mayor Pro Tem in 2010.

Recently named a Shareholder, Jason Goldstein is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.  He specializes in real property related litigation, including lender liability defense, title insurance and escrow claims, as well as creditors’ rights, prosecuting misappropriation of trade secret claims and general civil litigation.
