Court leadership has made the difficult decision to keep the North Justice Center closed until Monday, February 1, 2021.  The decision follows an extensive review of assessments regarding the condition of the building, the timeline to complete the remaining repairs and the necessity of reassigning cases to different locations. 

They report that the structural evaluation has been extensive, thoroughly analyzing the building’s structural integrity, identifying the possible causes of the problems, and ensuring that the ensuing repairs will be effective.  Although final reports have not been completed, the timeline to have them available pushed well into December prompting the decision to extend the closure at NJC through February 1, 2021.  The Court remains confident that the corrective work will be completed in time for this new date.
