The State Bar of California currently seeks a highly experienced Senior Director to oversee the Administration of Justice programs and activities. The Senior Director is responsible for overseeing planning, budgeting, personnel management, direction, and administration of the Access to Justice activities of the State Bar, including the two major components of the Office of Legal Services: The Legal Services Trust Fund Program and the Center on Access to Justice, subject to the general oversight of the Executive Director/CEO. Growing general liability and insurance coverage law firm is seeking an experienced associate attorney to join its practice in Fullerton, Calif. The firm practices primarily in insurance defense and insurance coverage. Litigation involves the subject matters of insurance bad faith, personal injury, and construction defect, among others. Candidates MUST possess the following skills and experience:
- At least 3 to 5 years of recent litigation experience—preferably insurance defense. Applicant must be experienced and skilled in drafting and responding to written discovery; researching, preparing, and drafting all manner of motions and briefs; drafting all pleadings; and drafting legal memorandum.
