OCBA Member Mohammed Ghods Elected President of LASOC

The OCBA is pleased to share that OCBA member Mohammed K. Ghods was elected as this year's president for the Legal Aid Society of Orange County. He will be succeeding former LASOC president and OCBA member R. Thomas Peterson who served as president for 32 years before retiring last year.

“I am very pleased Mohammed Ghods has been elected President of our Board of Directors,” says LASOC Board Member, Alan Slater. “I’ve been very impressed with his dedication to Legal Aid’s programs and to our client community.”

Ghods' legal practice areas include complex litigation involving business, real estate, employment, insurance, securities, transactional, and contracts. With years of experience serving on both public and private boards, Ghods brings much leadership experience as he takes on this new role.

Ghods received his B.S. from University of San Diego and his J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law. For more information about LASOC, visit the organization's website.
