The Superior Court of Orange County selected David H. Yamasaki as Court Executive Officer. A statewide leader in court administration, Yamasaki's appointment will begin on Dec. 2, 2016.

Prior to this role, Yamasaki served as Court Executive Officer of the Superior Court of Santa Clara County since July 2008. He also played an instrumental role in the new Family Justice Center courthouse in San Jose, a new civil case management system and e-filing for the Superior Court of Santa Clara County, and served as Assistant Executive Officer of the Superior Court of San Diego County for 10 years.

Yamasaki earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice Administration from San Diego State University, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Southern California.

Chief Executive Officer Alan Carlson plans to retire in October 2016. For more information, read the full press release.
