Longtime OCBA member Larry Bemis passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. A partner at Newport Beach-based Millar, Hodges & Bemis, Bemis's practice focused on taxation, estate planning, trust litigation, and corporate law.

Bemis graduated cum laude from Southwestern Law School, where he severed on the Law Review from 1970 to 1972.

A member of the OCBA Masters Division, Bemis was also active in the Trusts & Estates and Tax Law Sections.
