(Emergency Administrative Order for Emergency Bail Reductions and Own Recognizance)

On March 1,2023, the Orange County Superior Court issued Second Amended Administrative Order No. 20/10, Emergency Administrative Order for Emergency Bail Reductions and Own Recognizance. The Order, in light of the Chief Justice 's Advisory on COVID-1 9 and Court Operations, permitted own recognizance release for persons charged with low level misdemeanors and felony crimes punishable pursuant to Penal Code section 1170(h), The Order was intended to facilitate the transition from the state of emergency to normal operations as the Court continued to work through coronavirus health restrictions, The Court has now returned to normal operations,

Second Amended Administrative Order No. 20/10 is hereby rescinded, effective July 18, 2023.
