March 2023 Cover Story - Who’s Who in the OCBA

Each year, Orange County Lawyer magazine publishes an up-to-date list of the OCBA leadership as a service to our readers. It is through the dedication and continued efforts of the gracious volunteers who make up the OCBA Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Section Leadership, and Committee Chairs that the Bar is able to develop networking, educational, and community outreach events throughout the year in support of the OCBA’s mission:

To enhance the system of justice,

to support the lawyers who serve it,

and to assist the community served by it.

The 2023 Executive Committee is led by this year’s OCBA President, Michael A. Gregg, a shareholder in the Irvine office of Littler Mendelson P.C., where he delivers strategic advice and counsel to employers on a broad range of matters arising under state and federal laws. As OCBA President, he chairs the Board of Directors and is an ex-officio member of all committees. He will be the president of the OCBA Charitable Fund Board of Directors in 2024. Feel free to reach out to him at mgregg@ocbar.org.

The OCBA Board of Directors welcomes seven members with terms beginning in 2023: Caroline R. Djang, shareholder at Buchalter, APC, practicing in the areas of insolvency, bankruptcy, and litigation; John P. Glowacki, an owner of Roehl & Glowacki, P.C., where his practice focuses on trust and estate litigation and trials throughout California; Sharon Oh-Kubisch, of counsel at Smiley Wang-Ekvall, concentrating her practice on business litigation; Howard Privette, partner at Snell & Wilmer, where he focuses his practice on securities and corporate governance litigation; Eric V. Traut, co-owner of Traut Firm, representing everyday victims of serious personal injury and negligent lawyers; Jennifer Waier, Assistant United States Attorney, Deputy Chief of the Santa Ana Branch Office; and the 2023 OCBA Young Lawyers Division Chair Sean T. Lobb, a litigation associate at Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth.
