March 2022 Cover Story - 2022 Who’s Who in the OCBA

Each year, Orange County Lawyer magazine publishes an up-to-date list of the OCBA leadership as a service to our readers. It is through the dedication and continued efforts of the gracious volunteers who make up the OCBA Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Section Leadership, and Committee Chairs that the Bar is able to develop networking, educational, and community outreach events throughout the year in support of the OCBA’s mission:

To enhance the system of justice,

to support the lawyers who serve it,

and to assist the community served by it.

The 2022 Executive Committee is led by this year’s OCBA President, Daniel S. Robinson, a partner in the Newport Beach office of Robinson Calcagnie, Inc. where he focuses on civil litigation involving consumer rights, product liability, and environmental contamination. As OCBA President, he chairs the Board of Directors and is an ex-officio member of all committees. He will be the president of the OCBA Charitable Fund Board of Directors in 2023. Feel free to reach out to him at drobinson@ocbar.org.

The OCBA Board of Directors welcomes four members with terms beginning in 2022: John S. Cowhig, a family law specialist with the Law office of John S. Cowhig; H. Josh Ji, a litigation associate with Latham & Watkins LLP in Costa Mesa; Suzanne Burke Spencer, managing shareholder of Sall Spencer Callas & Krueger, practicing in the areas of professional malpractice and attorney ethics; and the 2022 OCBA Young Lawyers Division Chair, Nico Mamone, a trial attorney at Bentley & More LLP, with a practice focusing on personal injury, product liability, governmental entity liability, and workers’ compensation.
