Although the Orange County Superior Court continues to face numerous challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Court is committed to keep expanding services to the public. Effective September 1, 2020, the Court implemented a process to select civil cases to commence jury trials. In response to the Bar Association’s request for information, the Court created the attached Public Resource Guide that outlines the protocols implemented to conduct civil jury trials, while ensuring compliance with health and safety measures. Civil jury trials can be viewed via live stream accessible through the “Courtroom Live Streaming” webpage. Courtrooms currently designated to conduct civil jury trials are C3, CX102 and CX105. Effective October 19th, the designated courtrooms will be C4, CX102, CX103, CX104 and CX105.
