On June 19, 2018, Senator John Moorlach honored Hughes & Hughes, LLP, a family law firm in Tustin, as the 2018 California Small Business Association Honoree for Senate District 37. OCBA members Lisa Hughes, Bruce Hughes, David Wald, Stacey Stone, and Kathryn Yarnal were at the California Small Business DayTM 2018 held in Sacramento to accept the award.

During the month of May, the OCBA was proud to partner with Second Harvest Food Bank for its annual food drive - FOOD FROM THE BAR. Supporters and volunteers were recognized on Wednesday, June 20 at the Food From The Bar Awards Reception.

OCBA members volunteered on Sunday, June 10 for a unique opportunity to help restore and preserve the Newport Back Bay. 

At this year's  Orange County Women Lawyers Association 43rd Annual Gala, the OCWLA, an affiliate bar of the OCBA, will honor OCBA member the Hon. Karen L. Robinson and Board Member Andra Greene as its 2018 Judge of the Year and Attorney of the Year, respectively, and the inaugural Advancement of Women Award will be awarded to the law firm Best Best & Krieger LLP
