The OCBA Mentoring Committee invites all OCBA Members in practice 5 years or less to sign up as a Protégé and all OCBA Members in practice 7 years or more to sign up as a Mentor. Proteges and Mentors will be paired for an informal 30-minute coffee break. The OCBA will be hosting a Café Opportunity on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the OCBA office, 4101 Westerly Place, Newport Beach, CA 92660.

OCBA 12 Month Core Mentoring Program (June 2026 – June 2027)

Now Accepting Mentor Applications
OCBA Members in practice over seven years are encouraged to participate in the 2026-2027 Mentoring Program. This 12 month program will provide lawyers with a helpful, independent resource to assist in their career development.

Participant mentors will be matched with a compatible protégé. Mentors will be available to provide guidance in such areas as ethics and professionalism, practice and law office management, general lawyering skills and business/client development.

Now Accepting Protégé Applications
OCBA attorney members in practice five years or less are encouraged to participate in the 2026-2027 Mentoring Program.This 12 month program will provide lawyers with a helpful, independent resource to assist in their career development.

Participant protégés will be matched with an experienced, active OCBA attorney member available in such areas as ethics and professionalism, practice and law office management, general lawyering skills and business/client development.
