OCBA members with  50 or more years in the legal profession were recognized by the OCBA Masters Division at a celebratory luncheon held in their honor on December 4, 2019.

The Hispanic Bar Association of Orange County, an affiliate bar of the OCBA, honors California Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye with the 2020 Hon. Francisco Briseño Lifetime Achievement Award.

The organization also honored exceptional volunteers and the Orange County Superior Court as Community Partner of the Year.

OCBA member Michael Balmages received the first “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the Orange County Superior Court Temporary Judge Program in recognition of his 35 years of service to the court as a volunteer, temporary judge, trainer, and mentor.
