Updating you regarding the processing of Family Law submissions:
Updating you on the current status of the Family Law Courts in Orange County, I can report that as of yesterday, March 13 [Editorial note, His Honor meant April 13], we have the following:
Effective July 15, 2020, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect public health, all members of the public entering the court are subject to the following restrictions.
A series of complimentary webinar programs presented by attorneys specializing in Elder Law.
A series of four one-hour Webinar programs in July and August to provide law students with practical knowledge in appellate law. Register for Each Program Individually – Certificate Awarded Upon Completion of All 4 Programs!
?Scott Kelly, of Fullerton, was selected as the foreperson for the 2020- 2021 Orange County Grand Jury, Orange County Superior Court Presiding Judge Kirk Nakamura announced last week.
The Orange County Coalition for Diversity in the Law (OCCDL) is organizing a mentorship program for law students from Southern California law schools and is looking for attorneys to participate in the program.
Court employees under pop-up tents line the entrance to the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana most of the day, ready to provide assistance and guidance to members of the public that arrive at the Court with general questions, a scheduled in-person hearing or other approved in-person matters.
