The Orange County Bar Association is excited to announce Edward A. Schlatter as this year’s Harmon G. Scoville Award recipient. The award will be presented during a reception on November 18, 2025.
Hon. Sheila F. Hanson was elected Presiding Judge, and Hon. Terri K. Flynn-Peister Assistant Presiding Judge in an uncontested election for the two top posts of the Superior Court of California, County of Orange. Both Judge Hanson and Judge Flynn-Peister will begin their two-year terms on January 1, 2026.
The online election are now open for voting. The Election closes on Monday, Sept. 29, 2025. Only active attorney members will be eligible to vote (no law students, retired, or honorary members).

The Orange County Superior Court is pleased to announce the expansion of electronic fee payment processing to include complex cases, effective June 27th, 2025.
