The OCBA is very pleased to announce that Roy L. Comer has been selected as the recipient of this year's Harmon G. Scoville Award.

The OCBA is proud to announce its newly appointed Directors at Large. Appointed to the Board of Directors for terms running through December 2017 are Mary-Christine Sungaila and William T. Tanner.

The OCBA's annual Board of Directors Election closed at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 27, 2016. In accordance with the OCBA bylaws, 2016 President-Elect Michael L. Baroni will succeed to the Presidency in 2017.

The Constitutional Rights Foundation, Orange County named the OCBA Charitable Fund as its 2016 Community Partner of the Year.

The online election will open for voting on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, and close at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016. Only active attorney members will be eligible to vote.

Judith Daar begins her new role as dean of Whittier Law School on Monday, August 1.

Chapman University welcomed OCBA member Matthew J. Parlow as the new dean of its Dale E. Fowler School of Law.
