OCBA to Honor This Year's Lei Lei Wang Ekvall Award Recipient at the OCBA Summer Social

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Apr. 22, 2026 – The Orange County Bar Association is excited to announce the Honorable Bryan F. Clavecilla as this year’s Lei Lei Wang Ekvall Award recipient. The award will be presented during the annual OCBA Summer Social on June 4, 2026.

The Lei Lei Wang Ekvall award honors a member of the Orange County legal community who demonstrates the highest commitment to achieving diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession, while also exemplifying professional excellence. This award celebrates a member of the legal community who has led by example by supporting awareness and enhancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Inaugural award presented posthumously to Lei Lei Wang Ekvall on June 28, 2022.

Previous honorees include:

Judge Fred W. Slaughter (2025), Attorney Joseph L. Chairez (2024), Judge Maria D. Hernandez (2023), and Attorney Lei Lei Wang Ekvall (posthumously) (2022).
