Brown & Streza Promotes OCBA Member Derek Early to Partner

OCBA member Derek Early was promoted to Partner at Brown & Streza LLP.

Early serves as outside general counsel for privately held companies, with an emphasis on business planning, succession planning, corporate governance, contracts, commercial real estate, and mergers and acquisitions. His frequent collaboration with the firm’s tax and estate planning attorneys to execute complex business and estate planning transactions continues to provide significant benefits for clients.

He has been named a “Rising Star” by Southern California Super Lawyers.

Early earned his JD, cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2008, during which he served as managing editor for the Indiana Law Journal and President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society. He received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003.
