Chambers USA Recognizes Four Snell & Wilmer California Attorneys as "Leaders in Their Fields"

Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that four of its California attorneys have been named as leaders in their respective fields by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2018. These prestigious rankings are driven by independent interviews with clients of the firm and members of the legal community.

The Snell & Wilmer California attorneys ranked in this year’s edition are:

Michael J. Baker, Construction (California). With more than 20 years of experience dedicated to the area of construction law, Baker focuses his practice on the representation of design professionals, engineers, general contractors and public and private owners. His experience includes providing representation for business and contractual matters as well as disputes before arbitration panels, mediators and trial courts.

Richard A. Derevan, Litigation: Appellate (California). Derevan is a Certified Specialist in Appellate Law, California State Bar Association, Board of Legal Specialization. He has been lead counsel in more than 300 state and federal appeals and writ proceedings. Substantive areas have included business torts, product liability, contracts, securities, and various business and commercial issues.

Todd E. Lundell, Litigation: Appellate (California). Lundell is a Certified Specialist in Appellate Law. He has worked on various civil appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Eighth, and Ninth Circuits, and in state appellate courts in California, New York, Oregon, and West Virginia. Lundell has also prepared several certiorari petitions and merits briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court. He has considerable experience drafting merits briefs, amicus briefs, motions to stay and/or vacate judgment, petitions for review, and petitions for writ of mandamus.
