OCBA President Michael Baroni Receives 2017 First Chair Award

The OCBA is pleased to share that OCBA President Michael L. Baroni, who serves as General Counsel of Palace Entertainment, was announced as a recipient of the 2017 First Chair Award in the category of Top General Counsel.

The First Chair Awards is an annual selection of in-house counsel who have, through their hard work and innovation, made significant contributions to the legal community. The award program honors the top in-house counsel for their accomplishments in the past year in a wide range of categories. This year, there were 17,000 nominations and 100 award recipients.

The award will be presented at the First Chair Awards Event Conference & Gala on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center in Chicago, Illinois. Other award winners this year include general counsels from Robert Half, Penske Truck, Crate & Barrel, Sargento Foods, Sherwin-Williams, and Wells Fargo.
