Fundamentals of Reverse Mortgages and Their Legal Ramifications
This program will explore the world of reverse mortgages. We will discuss the fundamentals of reverse mortgages, what they are, how they are originated, how they can be used, how they are serviced. The discussion will also include how reverse mortgages are enforced and potential challenges and defenses to them, such as challenging a default. We will look at how these mortgage can help your clients, legal issues that arise with reverse mortgages, and government regulation of the field. Finally, we will look at special issues and legal claims that arise with reverse mortgages, that do not arise with forward mortgages.

This program is approved for 1.00 CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
