The Creator Economy: What You Need to Know About
What is the Creator Economy, what challenges does it present…and why should you care? In today’s digital environment, a burgeoning economy now exists featuring YouTubers, influencers, Twitch streamers, podcasters, and many others who make a living by using commercial digital platforms to build a community around their original content. Many workers in the Creator Economy face unique challenges, ranging from operating in a gray area of copyright law, to trademark disputes, contract law, and right of publicity. In this talk, Professor Jack Lerner will cover these issues and many more as he takes us on a tour of the Creator Economy’s unique legal landscape
