Elder Care Coordination: Enhancing Planning Opportunities for Elders

This program will present the origins, current status and mechanics of Elder Care Coordination in Orange County Superior Court Probate Department cases. It will demonstrate the special ethical freedoms that an Elder Caring Coordinator ("EC”) has that enables the EC to assist in creation of a comprehensive plan for an Elder unbridled from the necessary and important ethical concerns and restrictions that apply to attorneys for petitioner and respondents, Court-Appointed attorneys and Guardians Ad Litem. The ethical guidelines for an EC are elder-centric and encourage creation of a comprehensive plan to support the Elder.

Limited in-person space available. NO WALK-INS.

This program is approved for 1.00 Legal Ethics CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
