Recognizing and Avoiding the Dark Side of the Practice of Law
How does stress affect an attorney's work ethic? What are the unhealthy habits attorneys often develop to cope with their stress?
Success in the legal field depends not only on professional knowledge and competence, but also on the ability to effectively balance responsibilities and stressors. In this interactive and panel-based discussion, Civil Litigator Amy Guldner and Employee Rights Attorney Neil Pedersen will be discussing the different strategies needed to achieve this balance. Moreover, the discussion will cover the importance of self-care, avoiding unhealthy coping habits, and the dangers of substance abuse among lawyers.
