A rundown of the process, key concerns, traps and tips. This program will cover the basic requirements of the standard purchase agreement used in most residential transactions and an overview of the mediation process in general, including:
- What is Mediation (vs. Arbitration, court action, etc.)
- Requirements for Mediation in the standard CAR Purchase Agreement and how to comply
- Who attends the Mediation
- Where to find a Mediator, costs and other preliminary considerations
- What if the other party does not respond or is being difficult in selection of a Mediator or scheduling?
- Attending the Mediation
- What then?
