Leveraging Today’s Technology for Evidence-Gathering in Civil Litigation and Workplace Investigations

This program examines the wide spectrum of technological tools and digital evidence that plaintiff- and defense-side practitioners should consider during evidence-gathering for litigation or workplace investigations. We will discuss the myriad forms of digital evidence that employers, employees, and third parties may have in their possession, as well as the reliability and legal implications of such evidence (audio/video recordings, key card data, e-receipts, company data taken by current/former/departing employees, and other digital records). We will then cover various types of online research that counsel and investigators can conduct themselves, specific tools they can use (including AI), and pitfalls to avoid.

Limited in-person space available. NO WALK-INS.

This program is approved for 1.00 Technology in the Practice of Law and 0.25 General CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.

Cancellations must be received in writing via fax or email three (3) business days prior to meeting date to receive a refund.
