This program will address legal rules and public policy concerns that animate a cause of action for bad-faith refusal to settle. The speakers will discuss the potentially groundbreaking opinion from the Court of Appeal in Pinto v. Farmers Insurance Exchange, and they will re-create a claim from tender through the first lawsuit against the insured into the section lawsuit against the insurer for bad faith. Along the way, the speakers will debate various hot-button issues and point out numerous traps for the unwary litigator.

This program is approved for 1.0 CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.

Cancellations must be received in writing via fax or email three (3) business days prior to meeting date to receive a refund.
