Join your fellow Tax Law Section members as we explores the most impactful issues shaping today’s property tax assessments, offering practical insight into how the assessment roll is created and adjusted. Key highlights include the real-world effects of Proposition 19, reassessments triggered by the death of a property owner, and the complexities of co-tenancy ownership. The session also breaks down the assessment appeal process and explains when supplemental and escape assessments apply.
