Buffington Law Firm Presents: Harnessing the Power of §17206: Strategic Relief
in Trust Litigation
The purpose of this class is to discuss the use of Probate Code Section 1 7206
Motions in trust litigation in order to obtain interlocutory relief, i.e. relief before
( or after) trial. We will discuss how such motions differ from injunctive relief
granted under Civil Code Sections 3420-3424, and California Code of Civil
Procedure Sections 525-533 and other forms of interlocutory relief. This class will
contrast ordinary injunctive relief in civil cases with relief that is available in trust
litigation pursuant to Probate Code Section 17206 and related authority. This class
will omit a detailed discussion of ordinary injunctive relief.
This program is approved for 1.00 CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
