An Introduction to Veteran Benefits and Discharge Upgrades: Serving Heroes in Need and Restoring Honor
Join the OCBA Veterans and Military Committee to learn how you can help veterans qualify for a life changing discharge upgrade as well as obtain benefits through the Veterans Administration. A discharge upgrade positively and significantly impacts veterans by providing access to benefits and services they earned through their sacrifice and service to our country. This seminar will address these discharge upgrades as well as the many benefits that can be accessed through the Veterans Administration. Veterans are an under-served group with a unique culture which requires cultural competency as well as knowledge of specific protections. This program will provide a general introduction to working with this under-represented group.
This program is approved for 2.0 CLE Credit including .5 of Elimination of Bias Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
