Immigration Information Session 1: What Attorneys Representing Individuals Need to Know to Be Prepared
As the U.S. government begins to implement its 2025 immigration policies and executive orders, the landscape for foreign nationals (including those with lawful status and Lawful Permanent Residence) living in the U.S. status is set for significant changes. These new policies, will have far-reaching implications for immigrants, mixed status families and legal professionals representing them. Staying abreast of these changes will be critical. Topics will include: Lakin- Riley Act, Alien Registration Requirements, Travel bans and Travel Concerns, Expedited Removal Authority and the uptick of federal prosecution for illegal entry (despite having temporary status or immigration court proceedings pending).
Brown Bag Luncheon.
