Path to Pro Bono: How to Understand and Connect with Diverse and Low Income Communities
 
This seminar will provide an introduction to working with diverse and low-income communities for pro bono attorneys. Participants will learn the importance of empathetic connection with clients from diverse backgrounds and how to navigate conversations with clients whose identities and experiences are different than their own. Participants will also learn about the various pro bono opportunities available at Orange County’s 4 major legal aid programs where they can get hands on opportunities to build and strengthen the skills learned in this seminar.

Registrants MUST Select whether attending in-person or virtually.
Zoom only registrants will receive meeting link information one day prior to meeting date.
 
This program is approved for 1.0 Legal Ethics MCLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
 
Cancellations must be received in writing via fax or email three (3) business days prior to meeting date to receive a refund.
