Practical Tips for International Arbitration: A Global Perspective

International transactions often require arbitration of commercial disputes. International arbitration, particularly when conducted before foreign arbitration tribunals, can differ significantly from arbitration of domestic disputes in the United States. Our international panel will highlight practical considerations for US attorneys and companies in international arbitration, such as arbitration clauses, preservation of preliminary remedies, witness and evidence preparation, and enforcement issues. These considerations are important both the transactional lawyer in the anticipation of potential disputes, as well as the litigation practitioner.
