J-1 Waiver and an Overview of Nonimmigrant and Immigrant Options for International Medical Graduates
J-1 Waiver and an Overview of Nonimmigrant and Immigrant options for International Medical Graduates: Physicians who have participated in a program to receive graduate medical education or training in the U.S. often have a two-year home-country physical presence requirement. This panel will address the process for obtaining a J-1 waiver through the Conrad 30 and DHHS programs, O-1 visas, as well as immigrant visa options for physicians.
This program is approved for 1.00 CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
This program is an interactive Zoom meeting. Participants will be allowed to unmute and activate their video. Registered attendees will receive the Zoom registration link from the OCBA the day before the meeting. It will prompt the user to enter their name, email, and state bar number to receive the meeting link. This additional step is necessary for MCLE tracking purposes.
Cancellations must be received in writing via fax or email three (3) business days prior to meeting date to receive a refund.
