Trends in State Legislation Affecting Physicians and the Practice of Medicine
CMA will highlight trends in healthcare legislation expected in the second year of the 2025-2026 session, focusing on legislation affecting physicians and the practice of medicine. Expected areas of focus include legislation concerning artificial intelligence in different facets of health care, payer/managed care reforms, scope of practice expansions, clarifications of or exemptions to the ban on the corporate practice of medicine, and changes to personal injury actions, including survivor rights of action. Additional topics may be identified following the end of bill introduction deadline (2/20/26).
This program is approved for 1.0 CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
