Child Custody Solutions: Options Available & When to Use Them
Each child custody matter is unique and calls upon the family law practitioner to determine the best strategy and approach to address the contested issues. Various resources are available to parents involved in contested child custody matters including reunification therapy (Family Code Section 3190), custody evaluations (Evidence Code Section 730; Family Code Section 3111), minor's counsel (Family Code Section 3150; CRC 5.240-5.242), special masters (CCP Section 638), and co-parenting therapy (Family Code Section 3190). This presentation will help differentiate these resources and identify the boundaries of each so that family law practitioners can better use these resources based on the unique needs of the family.
This program is approved for 1.00 CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
