A Presentation by the Office of the Orange County Public Guardian
The Orange County Public Guardian oversees many aspects of life for individuals who are unable to make decisions for themselves. This inability can be due to incapacity, illness, or mental health issues. Their key responsibilities include investigating conservatorship needs, managing conservatee affairs and personal needs, managing the conservatee’s assets, and ensuring their well-being. When you attend this meeting, you will learn how the Public Guardian plays a crucial role in protecting vulnerable individuals and ensuring their rights are upheld. This is important because the Public Guardian collaborates with Orange County Counsel, attorneys, and other stakeholders to support the needs of conservatees. In this Webinar you will hear from the Public Guardian and Deputy Public Guardians what they do and be able to ask them questions about their work.
This program is approved for 1.00 CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
