Social Services IHSS Program Designed to
Help Keep Low-Income People in Their
Home and Out of the Nursing Home
This program will inform the participant about the OC Social Services Agency's in Home Supportive Services or
IHSS Program. How to qualify, how to participate and what the recipient's responsibilities are will be addressed.
Also covered will be how caregivers are chosen, hired and paid. The In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)
program provides in-home assistance to eligible aged, blind, and disabled individuals as an alternative to out-ofhome
care and enables recipients to remain safely in their own homes.
This program is approved for 1.00 Elimination of Bias MCLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
Cancellations must be received in writing via fax or email three (3) business days prior to meeting date to receive a refund.
