Collaborative Courts: What They Are & What They Can Do for Your Clients
Supervising Judge of the Collaborative Courts in Orange County, Hon. Scott B. Cooper, will lead the discussion on the services that are available to defendants through the Orange County Collaborative Courts, including the mental health courts, drug courts, DUI courts, and military/veteran courts. Two veteran attorneys will join Judge Cooper to assist the attendees understand how these courts work, the purposes and goals of these courts, which populations these courts are meant to serve, how to identify potential candidates, how to refer defendants for evaluations, and the ways in which defendants can benefit from participation in these courts.
This program is approved for 1.00 CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
Cancellations must be received in writing via fax or email three (3) business days prior to meeting date to receive a refund.
