The OCBA Community Outreach Committee and Young Lawyers Division invites you to assist the Secong Harvest Food Bank of Orange County Food Bank to help provide relief to those in need.
Spend a few hours packing and assembling food items into boxes for delivery to hungry families in our communities. Attire: Casual (jeans, sweatshirts, close toed shoes)
Second Harvest Food Bank Distribution Center
8014 Marine Way, Irvine
HOW:
Distribution center volunteers assist with sorting and inspecting nutritious food items for distribution to a community partner network. Duties include handling produce, packaged foods, crates, and boxes at an indoor Irvine distribution center.
WHO:
OCBA Members and their families. Ages 13-17 must have an adult chaperone. You must sign a Warehouse Liability form.
WHY:
Over 456,000 Orange County residents are at risk of hunger EVERY MONTH. Of these individuals 42% are children
