OCBA Commercial Law & Bankruptcy Annual Consumer Law Update
The panel will discuss current consumer bankruptcy cases in the 9th Circuit, including cases that relate to California’s homestead exemption, recoupment and the automatic stay, a debtor’s right to dismiss a chapter 13 case (even a case filed in bad faith), chapter 13 trustee commissions and dismissal, conversion and inherited assets and 523(a) and potential liability of a non-filing spouse.
This program is approved for 1.00 CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
