Artificial Intelligence Primer for In-House Counsel
The program will cover (1) the basics of the evolution of artificial intelligence technology such as distinctions between AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models; (2) specific AI opportunities in both the litigation and transactional contexts as applicable to in-house counsel; (3) ethical and professional responsibility considerations and pitfalls in use of AI directly and by retained outside counsel; and (4) tips for balanced use of AI that can increase efficiency while maintaining human in the loop checks and boundaries.
