HYBRID MEETING
Speaker:
Howard M. Privette
Partner, Snell & Wilmer LLP
Loper Bright: Why Should I Care?
We will discuss the blockbuster 2024 decision by the US Supreme Court in the Loper Bright case, which overturned the longstanding "Chevron doctrine" applicable to judicial review of administrative action and rule-making. We will examine the decision itself and track how it is being applied in various substantive areas. The focus will be on what corporate counsel should know and consider about this change in the law because it may have an important effect on your business.
Meeting is exclusive to OCBA Corporate Counsel Section Members only.
Cancellations must be received in writing via fax or email three (3) business days prior to meeting date to receive a refund.
