OCWLA’s Fall 2022 Philanthropy Event!
OCWLA is proud to partner with Community Legal Aid SoCal to support its Unlawful Detainer Answer Clinic on Tuesday September 20, 2022.
WHAT: This remote clinic assists low-income tenants facing eviction during the COVID-19 pandemic. Volunteer attorneys will meet with clients virtually to help prepare answers to Unlawful Detainer complaints.
WHEN: Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
Please sign up for one of the following shifts:
- Shift 1: 9am
- Shift 2: 9:45am
- Shift 3: 1pm
Each shift will last approximately 3 hours.
No prior experience is needed, and all volunteers will be provided with access to a brief on-demand training video to prepare for their shift. CLA SoCal housing staff attorneys are also available to provide real-time assistance to volunteer attorneys for the duration of the clinic.

The clinic is fully remote and functions over Zoom and conference calls.
