Avoid Falling into Ethical Traps: Know the CRPC to CYA

In 2020, over 17,488 cases were opened by the California Office of Chief Trial Counsel for attorney misconduct. As the California Rules of Professional Conduct continue to change each year, it is difficult for young lawyers to stay on top of ethical obligations owed to clients, opposing counsel, and the court. Please join the YLD Education Committee for a refresher on the updated California Rules of Professional Conduct and practical implications that young lawyers face every day.
