Depositions and Desserts: A Sweet Approach to Handling Effective Depos

 

Discovery provides the attorney with an expansive toolbox through which to seek information. However, one tool in particular can offer an attorney the unique opportunity to interact directly with the adverse party prior to any evidentiary hearing, the Deposition. During a Deposition, an attorney can gather information directly from the source, test trial arguments, and effectively lock an adverse party into their positions.

 

In this seminar, experienced trial counsel will walk attorneys through the timeline of a Deposition, from preparing the notice to using the transcript at trial, give tips on taking and defending a Deposition, and provide real-world advice they have accumulated throughout their practice.
